IT Consultant - Senior
Jefferson Technology (JTech) is seeking a senior information technology consultant with strong customer service skills to add to our dynamic, growing business.

In this role, you will:
- Work with numerous client organizations of many sizes to understand and meet their IT-related needs
- Provide full lifecycle management of large and small IT projects for clients
- Manage relationships with multiple clients
- Set up, configure, maintain, and train users on a variety of information technology assets, including desktop and laptop systems, LANs, WANs, printers, physical and virtual servers, and end-user software
- Assist clients in envisioning and developing IT initiatives to support their business
- Drive implementation of new technologies for clients
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including after-hours and weekend support
- Continually look for ways clients can improve their efficiency and operations
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, consulting, or help desk services
- A strong background in IT project management
- A proven track record of client service management
- Experience with a wide variety of IT assets from multiple different vendors
- A problem-solving mindset and love of getting to the root cause of issues
- Experience in a diversity of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and VMware
- EXCELLENT interpersonal skills, including patience and empathy, for both clients and coworkers
- Ability to work independently, in a team of coworkers, and collaboratively with clients
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and phone
- Availability to work rotating after hours and weekends on call
- Strong personal drive to stay current in technology trends
- A love of building solutions and wowing clients!
